Singapore : Kuala Lumpur 2014

So it's that time of the again. My annual out of the country trip on my birthday month. Last year I was in Singapore. And this year, we decided to go to... Singapore! Yes, it is Singapore again. But, putting Kuala Lumpur on the side. :) This is actually overdue as our flight should've been last month from the 4th til the 8th. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to rebook to the 1st til the 4th of this month. Hey, no regrets as this turned out to be one of the most adventurous trips in my recent memory.

Day 1 : Okay so we landed in Singapore at 5pm on a Saturday and thank you Jesus weather was perfect. I always fear experiencing rain during vacay so I was really glad it didn't over the course of it all. We immediately rode the train to Raffles and walked and walked our hearts out til we reached the hotel in Clarke Quay. It was perfect for backpackers. We went out for dinner and ended up in one hawker center and ate something they call curry bee hon. I wasnt a fan simply because I dont dig curries and it was too spicy. Then we decided to just do some walking tour and went back to the hotel room and called it a day.

Day 2 : Second and full final day in SG. A tiring one. Woke up early to prepare as we will be going to Sentosa! <3 oh how I love thee. Last year we went to USS, so for a change, this year we decided to try the SEA AQUARIUM instead. It's the biggest in the world, so, why not right? It was worth all our penny and I loved how we managed to go to one place to another despite the hot weather. Eating from one curry to another. Uhh so sick of it. Even went to the beach station for some sight-seeing of le man made beaches. I love this day. Not to mention being able to eat Hainanese Chicken for lunch. I couldnt ask for anything more. Unlike last year, I was able to buy a few totes from the Vivo City station. 3 for $10, not bad. Rested fir a few hours at the hotel room and decided to eat them crabs at the Jumbo Seafood restaurant. TWO THUMBS UP. Wrapping up the night with a touch of Koi Milk Tea and MBS + The Merlion, of course.

Day 3 : This day was all about Suria and the Petronas Twin Towers. First notion about KL was : DEAD. I dont see myself going back there for another vacation as I dont find it safe. Or maybe that's just me. Probably because it was in the Chinatown and we were unable to explore the city in itself. Anyway we just decided to rest and then go to KLCC where the Petronas Towers is located. But since it's too early, we went to Suria (the mall beside the towers) to do some souvenir shopping and shopping. Hehe. I;m happy about it and the fact that we were able to have our final dinner at Nando's. Been wanting to try it since forever. Got my MAC Heroine lippy too so I'm happy. :) Got to buy em pasalubongs for my homies and of course culminating the trip with a perfect shot at the twin towers. At the end of the day I realized, KL isnt that bad after all. I MIGHT considering going back in the near future. :)

That is it. Sorry for the lack of inserts, my brain cells arent cooperatin and I am unable to put up a senseful blog post for this one. Still so bummed.

New Flame - Chris Brown feat. Usher & Rick Ross

I love Chris Brown. I always loved him. But, this song just put that love into a whole new levelz. Why do you have to be so good? I can't even. Not to mention putting Usher in the mix. This is how you do it. Total perfection. (ps : see 2:35 and beyond! Belted a damn growl.) Them feels. #newflame #teambreezy

Fireworks.

Here's to an obligatory first blog post in where I can't even figure out what to put as a title, and heck, doesn't even know what to write. I've been trying to do this thing my whole life but can't seem to do it right. So yeah, I am at it again. You may be wondering why I decided to put "Fireworks" as my the title for my first official blog post eh? That's just because that song by Katy Perry is now playing as my background music. Now, we're talking. Still, brain cells aren't cooperating.

Okay. Let's give it a shot. On a more serious note.

Basically, I have decided to keep my blogging "prowess" alive because I want to be able to look back on this years and years from now. Like, what I want to happen in my friggin life in the next 5years and actually read this back through when I get there. Some sort of a Timehop thing, I guess. Funny thing about life is, no matter how good the memories are, we sometimes, tend to forget those. And it's sad because we have so much joy to share to other people. We have so much joy to share to the world. I'd love to be able to write down all of the fun times (and the bad ones that I hope are not too many) and be able to look at it a few years later to remember.

So yeah, pretty much I would like to make this as fun as I could. I promise I will try to do this as much as I can -- and my time permits. Welcome to my life. A beautiful chaos.
